I am truly appalled at the president’s claim that 90% of Americans support the proposed gun control laws. His speech writer should be fired. He claims these bills would have prevented another Sandy Hook or Aurora shooting, yet he has no evidence to support that claim. Factually speaking, the proposed laws in Colorado would not have prevented one incident, nor would the Federal proposed bills. Don’t forget one of the sponsors, Congresswoman DeGette, actually thought magazines were the same as bullets. That’s the kind of familiarity those who sponsor these bills have with the subject.

Mr. President, just because the polls tell you what buzz phrases to use to seek your agenda, it does not mean the American people are so naive to follow your continuous record of lies. Remember there are many of us that remember the day you promised to reduce the National deficit by 50%, and you did far more damage and tripled it with nothing to show but more people reliant on your handouts. The people are onto you and we will remember this at election time as you asked in your latest hollywood type speech. Here in Colorado, and at the federal level, your puppets will be removed from office and your legacy will be remembered in history as the ultimate failure based on lie after lie. Yes, your so-called promise of change is more lies, debt, and higher taxes on the middle class to pay for your failed promises. Please tout more successes of Chicago, such as their tax rates, the upside down pension fund, number of homicides, clearance rates or lack of clearances.

Our president even claimed Chicago as justification, for these gun control measures knowing full well that Chicago is the poster child of failure from gun control laws. Violence has increased since Chicago’s gun control measures have been in place and they are more restrictive than any other city in this country. In simple terms, it got worse and his creation of so-called “sheep” to fend off the “wolf” have failed. The American people are not the sheep he wants to create. We will be heard and we will not follow his lies that lack scientific validation and truth. My heart goes out to all victims of any violence. Statistically speaking, more people are killed by items other than guns far more often, but our president doesn’t want you to know that. Check the Bureau of Justice Statistics for yourself and do it before his administration manipulates them.

The president claims to be speaking for the victims, yet he chooses which victims, because I, as many of you, have witnessed victims from Aurora, Sandy Hook, and even Columbine plea with law makers to not pass measures that criminalize and punish the law abiding citizens for the acts of killers. They demonstrated common sense and showed true courage to stand against the lies and denounce the measures as ineffective. The promises of preventing these horrific acts in the future are misleading and even our own governor has admitted, here in Colorado, the similar guns bills would not have prevented tragedies such as Aurora and Sandy Hook. Our president is an embarrassment to our free society and so are his puppets. The next election will show just that. The president’s posturing and agenda were truly seen for what they are, more lies and false promises, most importantly an agenda based on undeliverable promises. How embarrassing he uses the greatest failure in our nations’ history for more gun control and people control- that failure being the murder capital of the United States, Chicago. Watch his statement on CNN and ask yourself how he can mention his home town as an example of justification. This is the city that arrested a 56 year old female researcher at the University of Illinois, Chicago, during the week of February 15th for bringing an unloaded weapon to work, in a secured box, to prevent it from being stolen by contractors working on her home. She was trying to prevent a crime and not be a victim. She was arrested and had to post a $25,000.00 bond to get out of jail and is now on suspension from work, pending criminal charges and awaiting trial.

This is what happens when emotionally charged laws are recklessly passed. Law abiding citizens are criminalized. Thankfully a majority of US Congress saw through these proposed lies and did what’s right. Now we, the people of Colorado, need to send a message to the governor and the Capitol that we will not be criminalized, nor will we stand by and allow our rights to be infringed and stripped based on lies and unenforceable, agenda driven bad laws. That is why I will not back off this issue and will proudly support my rights, to access to courts, with 37 other sheriffs in a legal action against these ridiculous, unconstitutional laws.

Breitbart Exclusive: Obama Fails to Register ‘OrganizingForAction.net’; Site Points to NRA Home Page

At the beginning of the year, President Barack Obama’s new 501(c)4 political nonprofit, Organizing For Action, was launched with all the usual bells and whistles. But the tech wizards at OFA forgot one important rule in today’s Internet world: Register all the iterations of your website address before someone else does.

Now Obama’s team is filing complaints against the folks smart enough to get the addresses before he did.

As Obama’s OFA made its debut, no one in his purportedly Internet-savvy campaign had obtained the corresponding .com, .net, .org or .us sites, nor did OFA register other names that are close to its official one, as is the sensible practice. In the case of the .net address, a fellow named Derek Bovard had already registered the .net address by the time Obama’s team took notice.

Bovard has routed his new site to the homepage of the National Rifle Association.

So, whenever anyone goes to www.organizingforaction.net they end up seeing the homepage of the NRA.

Naturally, Obama and his fellow community organizers were furious. So furious, in fact, that they have replied by filing complaints against Bovard–and, apparently, a variety of other people who had registered domain names that OFA now wants.

Obama’s Litmus Test for Top Brass: Are You Willing to Fire On American Citizens?

The Obama administration is openly escalating its campaign against private gun ownership, and shaking up the top ranks of the military command structure — but is it also preparing to make war on the American population? According to a person identified as a former senior military official, the answer to that shocking question is yes.

World-renowned educator and human rights activist Jim Garrow says that the source, man regarded as “one of America’s foremost military heroes,” told him that President Obama is using a new litmus test for “determining who will stay and who must go” among top-ranked military leaders. That test is whether they will fire on US citizens or not. Garrow says that his source made the disclosure in order to “sound the alarm” over the administration’s plans.

President Barack Obama is a master at limiting, shaping and manipulating media coverage of himself and his White House.

Not for the reason that conservatives suspect: namely, that a liberal press willingly and eagerly allows itself to get manipulated. Instead, the mastery mostly flows from a White House that has taken old tricks for shaping coverage (staged leaks, friendly interviews) and put them on steroids using new ones (social media, content creation, precision targeting). And it’s an equal opportunity strategy: Media across the ideological spectrum are left scrambling for access.

The results are transformational. With more technology, and fewer resources at many media companies, the balance of power between the White House and press has tipped unmistakably toward the government. This is an arguably dangerous development, and one that the Obama White House — fluent in digital media and no fan of the mainstream press — has exploited cleverly and ruthlessly. And future presidents from both parties will undoubtedly copy and expand on this approach.

Obama’s “Secret Letter” to Moscow

The long time strategy of Moscow has always been to destroy US defense capability, and then through war/and or “diplomacy”/international law, end American sovereignty forever.

All his life President Barack Obama has worked radicals such as Frank Marshall Davis, Alice Palmer, and Bill Ayers, all of whom dedicated their lives to bring America to its knees.

These ideas seemed to have rubbed off on the president himself.

The Russians are hailing Obama’s choice of leftists Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense, and John Kerry for Secretary of State , as potentially having a “positive effect on Russia-US relations”.

Russia is also awaiting a “secret letter” from president Obama, one that is expected to contain some proposals in the sphere of disarmament,including nuclear.

The letter will be delivered by president Obama’s National Security Advisor Thomas Donilon, a member of that well known patriotic organization, the Council on Foreign Relations.

Alexei Pushkov, the head of the State Duma committee on international affairs, believes that a top Washington aide will deliver to Moscow offers on nuclear disarmament in an upcoming visit.

­“The US president’s National Security Advisor Thomas Donilon is expected to arrive in Moscow in February,” Pushkov told a news conference in Moscow on Wednesday. “He is expected to bring a so-called secret letter.”

The leading Russian politician, while admitting that “no one knows what this letter will say,” said he believes it will contain “some proposals in the sphere of disarmament, including nuclear…”

Discussing the so-called Russia-US reset, which Pushkov said “has exhausted itself,” he noted that the relationship has “entered a phase of reformatting.” While acknowledging the achievements between Washington and Moscow – including partnership in Afghanistan, Russia’s accession to the WTO and the signing of a nuclear arms reduction treaty – Pushkov held out hope that the Russia-US relationship would get back on track in 2013…

“If Chuck Hagel is approved as Pentagon chief, he is also known as [a] political realist,” Pushkov said, adding that a Kerry-Hagel tandem could have a positive effect on Russia-US relations.

Trying to appease or befriend Moscow will work out just as well as trying to appease Nazi Germany did.

Obama is playing a very dangerous game with American national security. If he succeeds in disarming America, then the combined forces of Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela and others, will be able to exercize their will anywhere in the world.

If the balance swings too far in their favor, they will almost certainly strike at the American Heartland.

Obama isn’t just playing a silly game here. He is putting hundreds of millions of lives, and Western Civilization itself, at grave risk.

Obama Eliminates Breakfast for US Troops in Afghanistan, Stuffs Own Face

If only American soldiers in Afghanistan were unemployed Democratic voters in Chicago, then they might be getting three square meals a day from the government.

But the military is the one place that Obama feels comfortable slashing expenses. While spending at an uncontrollable rate unseen since the last days of the Roman Empire in every other area, Obama has been cutting “waste” in the military like 20,000 Marines, Tricare healthcare for veterans and breakfast for soldiers serving in areas where he would only venture accompanied by heavy firepower.

Warren Buffett and other crony capitalists can pig out on Obama’s trillion dollar deficits. As for the troops. Let them ear MRE’s.

The Army has stopped serving cooked breakfasts to some of the U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan as part of its drawdown, a move that prompted troops to write home asking their families and friends to send care packages with cereal, breakfast bars and other foods.

The Army told the Washington Guardian the current cutbacks began Jan. 1, and affect about 2,700 soldiers deployed in forward operating bases in more remote areas of Afghanistan.

The Washington Guardian reported earlier this month that the current budget crisis in Congress prompted Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter to write a memo order preparations for sweeping budget cuts across all military programs to begin as early as next month.

Officials stressed other comforts at the forward operating bases may also soon be reduced, such as laundry and recreation, as officials look for other ways to reduce the American footprint in advance of departing the country.

They said the meal cutbacks are currently affecting forward operating bases in more remote areas of Afghanistan and not affecting the main American bases in Kabul and Kandahar.

Exit questions. How many cooked breakfasts for soldiers would Obama’s 20 million dollar Hawaii vacations and the 1.4 billion that his clan’s non-stop partying buy?

While American soldiers go hungry, here is what Obama and his corrupt cronies had for their inaugural lunch.

Our Country Is in Danger! Obama to Shut Down Southern Air Defense Systems: “It Will Be Open Season for Terrorists Flying In With Nukes, Low Altitude Missiles, Or Even Full Scale Invasion of America”

In his quest to allow as many illegal immigrants in the U.S. as possible, Obama has decided to close our Southern Air Defense System.  This puts our country in great danger, since drug traffickers, smugglers and  other assorted criminals and terrorists will feel freer to cross our southern border.

Obama has had assistance by those who want to erase our southern border, especially, the progressive think tank,  Migration Policy Institute. It just so happens that  one of its goals is to dissolve our national sovereignty.  What better way to do that than by destroying our defense system, thereby allowing anyone to cross the southern border and who has absolutely no allegiance to our country.

However, we know that with progressives, unintended consequences always happens.  While trying to destroy the country’s sovereignty by diluting our population with illegals (for the sole purpose of achieving more Democrat votes, I might add), a nuke-carrying terrorist can also cross the border.  Our country is definitely in danger!

As the U.S. government continues to expand surveillance and monitoring systems to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars within the borders of the United States, a recent announcement regarding the country’s southern air defense systems is raising eyebrows.

Our southern border is, in part, protected by the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS), which utilizes moored balloons hovering at about 15,000 feet to identify low flying aircraft and missiles that may penetrate the border and cross into U.S. airspace.

The system is utilized by the U.S. Air Force, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection for a number of missions including detection of drug smuggling and preservation of the air sovereignty of the continental United States.

According to Exelis Systems Corporation, the company that built and jointly maintains TARS with the U.S. Air Force, the government has ordered a complete shutdown of Aerostat flight operations:

The government also indicated its intent that aerostat flight operations will cease on March 15, 2013, and that the remainder of the fiscal year will be used to deflate aerostats, disposition equipment, and prepare sites for permanent closure. We are currently reviewing all the details of the RfP and evaluating the possible impacts on the program and our workforce. We continue to communicate with the government on this matter, and we will have more information in the coming days and weeks.

An Exelis employee close to the TARS project had this to say about the closure of the sites:

“Not only will this closure mean hundreds of people will be out of jobs, but it also means our borders will not be safe, especially along the remote U.S. Mexico Border like in Texas.

These defense radars detect low flying aircraft infiltrating our borders.

Without these defense radars, low flying aircraft will go undetected.

It will be open season for any drug/gun/slave smugglers, terrorists flying in with nukes, low altitude missiles, or even a full scale low elevation invasion/attack against America.”
